‘Let Nature be your teacher’

Budding writers and outdoor adventurers will love these drop-in afternoons. Each month we have a different theme, introducing the Wordsworths and their writing before getting creative with activities and crafts. These afternoon sessions will inspire and delight children as they explore the natural world right on the Wordsworths’ doorstep. Join poet Katie Hale in our Sensory Garden and learn how to see nature in a new way. Watch closely for the small things that you might usually miss – an insect, a dewdrop, moss and lichen – and record your impressions creatively with words and colours.
